LIBRARY PATTERNFUCK - Library checkout cards, remember these? My sister gave me a stack of them, along with catalog cards and tags. I’ve been making simple, geometric patterns using the lines on the cards as a guide. You know me, I love drawing repetitive and rhythmic lines. That acidic chunk of blocks on the lower left, is a remnant from an abandoned painting. It works perfectly with the zigzags, chevrons and stripes in the library cards.
All my collages are created by hand, nothing’s digital. Paper, glue and bits collected over the years.
