With these paper pieces, I’m working on simplifying colors and patterns to make a stronger visual punch. With these, I drew out designated areas first. Then filled them in with a pattern. The drips are still around. I like mixing up the sloppy, looseness of the drips and schmears of paint, with the regularity of the patterns. Any which way you choose to display them, these paintings will POP!
